Hello gamers,

We've been watching feedback for the game trickle in and paying close attention to those who have been streaming or talking about it. As a reminder, we're basing our next steps for this project on community feedback, and will only plan more content if we see more interest from players!

We're not quite ready to commit to a lot more work on this game just yet, but we did want to make some improvements that we felt greatly improve the gameplay experience. Here are the improvements with the latest update:

• Sped up interact timers on tutorial dismiss, leaving Light Sparks, and picking up items
• Added audio cues to enemy attacks to make them easier to react to
• Added hints for controls on the Light Spark menu to remind players on how to use equipment
• Updated level design of starting area to ensure players find the first Kindling
• New item UI animates to help indicate when new gear has been found
• Fixed UI bug with gear UI persisting when backing out of equipment menu
• Item pickups no longer block enemy projectiles
• Minor fix to ensure only the player is able to hit the "Level End" trigger
• Fixed audio bug causing "Boss Death" sound to play at incorrect times
• Fixed bug with boss health bar not reflecting actual health values sometimes
• Generally made the boss fight much more stable and less prone to soft-locks
• Updated message at the start of the game
• Added our studio logo to the front of the game
